Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own the Modem SOC production release for the TeraWave platform at the Austin site. You will guide the SOC from tape-out to qualification, collaborating across validation, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure high yield and cost-effective production.

The role requires hands-on experience with high-speed digital SOC testing, DFT, and ATE development, with a focus on secure boot, power management, and multi-domain DVFS in space-grade subsystems.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent with 7+ years in IC product engineering or development.
• Hands-on ownership of digital or mixed-signal SOCs from definition to production release.
• Experience with characterization, qualification, and reliability testing on advanced-node ASICs.
• Proficiency in SerDes, DDR validation, and ATE test development.

Responsibilities

• Own modem SOC production release from tape-out through qualification and manufacturing.
• Develop and execute characterization and qualification plans for major subsystems.
• Lead validation, test engineering, data collection, and statistical analysis.
• Collaborate with validation teams to deliver a fully characterized SoC.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive cost reductions through process improvements.
• Interface with NPI, OSATs, and backend operations to manage ramp and yields.
