Chipton-Ross, Inc. is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in Albuquerque, NM. The role is onsite and focuses on system requirements, GNC design, and building analytical tools to evaluate performance.

The selected candidate will work with LEOS on national defense-related projects, developing complex models and presenting results to stakeholders. 9+ years of experience or a higher degree is preferred, with expertise in MATLAB, Python, or Java.

Qualifications

• Experience in modeling & simulation systems engineering.
• Experience with modeling and simulation software development.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, defines and documents system level requirements and investigates actions necessary for requirements definition and flow-down improvement.
• Performs and documents design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems and guides engineers in performance of the designs.
• Develops GNC and mathematical tools and techniques and aids in developing Technology roadmaps.
• Performs or directs test data analysis and documentation.
• Presents findings of compliance to regulatory agencies and supports certification basis alignment.
• Trains and coaches others; works under minimal direction.
