Job summary

Boeing Defense & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Systems Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will join a multi-disciplined team to design and test advanced concepts for a DoD program, using MATLAB/Mathematica for modeling, data analysis and validation against field data.

The role involves requirements development, trade studies and performance anchoring across electro-optical systems, with opportunities for growth and a U.S.

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering or related fields.
2+ years of related work experience.
Experience modeling and/or simulating Electro-Optical and Infrared systems with MATLAB or Mathematica.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and validating requirements for electro-optical systems.
Use data analysis results and mod/sim outputs to anchor requirements for electro-optical, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.
Work with engineering teams to collect and analyze data used to anchor models.
Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation and other analyses to predict performance and optimize designs.
Define and conduct analyses to validate performance of designs to requirements.
Define and conduct tests to validate performance and anchor models to field data.
