Job summary

Created Solutions is seeking a Principal Modeling & Simulation Systems Analyst to support Missile Defense Agency modeling and simulation efforts in Huntsville, AL. You will maintain the Model Assessment Limitations Tracker (MALT) and help translate real systems into modeling requirements for a distributed M&S federation.

You will collaborate with M&S Requirements teams, develop SCMs and SRDs, and prepare technical reports and briefings.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or bachelor’s with 20+ years.
• Systems engineering/weapon systems modeling for defense systems.
• Experience developing system-level modeling and simulation requirements.
• Strong systems-thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Model Assessment Limitations Tracker (MALT), including open limitations, watch items, and items assessed during ground test events.
• Update MALT documentation as items are added, closed, or archived and support recurring reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with M&S Requirements teams and Missile Defense System (MDS) elements to develop Simulation Conceptual Models (SCMs).
• Support development of M&S System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
• Participate in technical interchange meetings and prepare technical reports, briefings, and documentation.
• Apply Simulation Conceptual Modeling processes to translate real-world physical systems into appropriate abstractions and requirements for a distributed M&S federation.
