Job summary

GovSG is seeking a Model-Based Systems Analyst (MBSE) to support the Targets and Countermeasures program office of the Missile Defense Agency. This on-site role in Huntsville, AL requires a Bachelor degree with 7+ years experience, active DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency in SysML and MBSE tools.

You will develop and maintain system models, ensure requirements traceability, and integrate MBSE with simulations and data repositories to support major milestone reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 7+ years supporting missile defense or large-scale, complex DoD programs.
• Experience with SysML and core systems engineering frameworks (DoDAF/UAF).
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience integrating MBSE models with simulations and analytical environments.

Responsibilities

• System Modeling & Architecture: Develop and maintain descriptive system models using SysML to capture system behaviors, structure, interfaces, and requirements.
• Requirements Traceability: Map system-level and component-level requirements to architecture artifacts with end-to-end traceability and baseline integrity.
• Digital Engineering Integration: Link MBSE models with external tools, simulations, and data repositories.
• Technical Baseline Reviews: Prepare model-centric artifacts for major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Interface & Trade Studies: Conduct architectural trade studies and model system interfaces to resolve risks.
• Configuration & Data Management: Maintain version control and configuration baseline compliance for SysML models.
• Other duties as assigned
