Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Typically 8–15+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, systems analysis, or operations research.
• Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and quantitative analysis methods.
• Experience developing and executing analytical models and simulations.
• Proficiency with programming/analysis languages: Python, MATLAB, R, C++, Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain modeling and simulation environments for system performance, mission effectiveness, and analytical studies.
• Design simulation scenarios and analytical studies to evaluate capabilities and concepts.
• Conduct statistical analyses, sensitivity studies, and performance assessments.
• Verify, validate, and accredit (VV&A) simulation models and tools.
• Analyze large data sets and generate technical reports and briefings.
• Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and program managers to define objectives.
• Develop automated analysis tools and scripts to improve efficiency.
• Present findings to senior leadership and review boards.
• Support modeling and simulation throughout the system lifecycle.
