Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration BU seeks a Sr. Principal Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer - Level 4 in Colorado Springs, CO.

The role focuses on developing models and simulations for missile defense, space, and intelligence programs within a classified environment. Required are a STEM degree with 8+ years (or a Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years) and a Secret clearance, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in STEM with required related work experience.
• Active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience writing or reviewing complex technical white papers or dissertations.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers.
• Experience presenting data to Government customers.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team.
• Experience performing operations research: modeling, statistics, optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and simulations using Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) tools like AFSIM in a classified environment.
• Support MS&A project teams with modeling, simulation and analysis work.
