Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Modeling & Simulation Configuration Architect to support USCG M&S tools.

This on-site role in Alexandria, VA involves developing software with open-source tools and simulations, coordinating with clients, and overseeing DT&E of model code for each release. The successful candidate will design and manage the M&S environment, ensure interoperability and performance, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in modeling & simulation.
Experience with M&S tools such as STORM, SWIFT, NSS, or AFSIM.
Ability to design and manage the architecture of M&S environments.
Experience overseeing DT&E of model code for releases.

Responsibilities

Apply advanced analytical, modeling, and simulation to solve warfighting problems for USCG.
Develop software using open-source tools and simulations to meet design requirements.
Coordinate with client and stakeholders to identify model requirements and priorities.
Ensure interoperability, scalability, and performance of models and oversee configuration management.
