Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Senior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to provide hybrid support for the USCG M&S cell, primarily at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA with regular visits to VA and DC sites.

You will build and run simulations, develop mission-level representations, and advise on modeling approaches for complex defense problems. This role requires an 8+ year track record, a Bachelor's in OR/Data Science, and an Active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Data Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Modeling & Simulation experience for USCG or other military service.
• Experience with STORM, SWIFT, NSS, or AFSIM.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical, modeling, and simulation skills to solve complex warfighting problems for USCG.
• Develop software using open-source tools and simulations to support engagement- and mission-level analyses, wargames, exercises, and experiments.
• Build and execute analytical models using statistical methods and Operations Research techniques.
• Advise team members on appropriate analytical techniques and modeling approaches.
