Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to support NASIC. You will develop authoritative MBSE models, using SysML to capture architectures and system behaviors while collaborating with engineers, software developers, and government customers in a DoD context.

Required are a Master’s degree or related certifications, 10+ years of experience, and active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or related certifications (OCSMP, INCOSE CSEP, PMP)
• Strong SysML knowledge for modeling architectures and system behaviors
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, EA)
• Experience developing and maintaining models and datasets for complex systems
• Ability to analyze architecture data to solve complex problems and improve products
• Knowledge of DoDAF or UAF architecture frameworks
• Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of SysML 2.0
• Strong written/verbal communication for technical documentation
• Active secret security clearance

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others)
• Strong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors
• Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
• Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes
• Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
• Knowledge of SysML 2.0
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts
• Active secret security clearance

Required Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Desired Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices
