Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Java Developer to design and implement scalable web and mobile solutions for the Digital Security & Authentication team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing Java enterprise applications.
• Strong Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices architecture, and SQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git source control and modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Build scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions.
• Integrate applications with internal and external APIs and third-party services.
• Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and technical planning sessions.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for mobile applications.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Support deployment through App Store/Google Play release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mobile production issues.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Monitor and improve application performance and security.
• Support cloud-native deployments and containerized environments.
