Job summary

FleetPride in Irving, TX is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician III who has mastered preventative maintenance on trailer systems and can train others. This role includes diagnostics, major repairs, and performing shop work between service calls.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trailers, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. CDL is preferred, and the technician will lift 50 lbs and uphold a perfect safety record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; welding certificate/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trailers.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex trailer systems.

Responsibilities

• Examine trailers to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild trailer components and systems.
• Provide preventative maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine services on trailers.
• Repair brakes, axles, suspension, lights, wiring, and body components.
• Operate and test components with appropriate equipment.
