Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Sr. Manager of Software Development & Engineering to lead teams building Schwab Mobile experiences for iOS and Android.

You’ll guide architecture, security, performance, and production support while collaborating with product, design, cybersecurity, API, and platform teams. You’ll drive talent development, deliver across multiple domains, and advance AI-enabled development practices to improve quality, automation, and productivity.

Qualificações

• 2-4 years of software engineering experience including leadership/mentoring of teams.
• Experience leading or supporting native mobile app development for iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with iOS technologies: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, XCTest, dependency management.
• Familiarity with Android technologies: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, Espresso.
• Experience supporting financial applications or customer capabilities.
• Experience across multiple technology domains: native apps, backend services, APIs, cloud, data, security, integrations.
• Experience with API development and integration: REST, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API gateways, token management, authorization controls.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, release management, observability, production support, incident management.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to develop people, manage delivery risks, and ensure accountability.
• Strong communication, decision-making, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop engineers, SDETs, and technical leads supporting Schwab Mobile.
• Deliver native mobile experiences for Bill Pay, Money Transfers, Check Deposit, Manage Cards, Crypto Transfers.
• Provide technical direction for iOS and Android apps: architecture, modernization, performance, security, accessibility.
• Manage projects across native apps, backend services, APIs, cloud platforms, data, security, and third-party integrations.
• Partner with Product and business leaders to set priorities and communicate risks.
• Ensure secure API integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API gateways, token management.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, observability, releases, and production support.
• Establish quality and operational practices to reduce defects and improve release readiness.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, code quality, tests, and workflows.
• Foster inclusive, accountable team culture focused on talent development and high-quality customer experiences.
