Cloudflare seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the WARP Mobile SDK team, shaping the future of mobile security SDKs for iOS and Android. You will define APIs, establish robust foundations, and drive release quality while collaborating across product, security, and backend partners.

You will mentor engineers, optimize for performance and binary size, and balance cross-platform considerations with customer needs. This role emphasizes pragmatic engineering and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building production software for iOS or Android, with cross-ecosystem awareness.
• Experience owning customer-distributed SDKs, libraries, or developer-facing products.
• Strong knowledge of mobile platform security concepts and secure communication.
• Familiarity with native mobile networking stacks and HTTP APIs.
• Ability to diagnose cross-domain production issues while protecting data.
• Understanding of release practices, dependency management, and compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Define client architecture and public APIs for native iOS and Android SDKs.
• Establish foundations that are testable, documented, lightweight, and integrable.
• Set standards for compatibility, diagnostics, performance, and release quality.
