Ford is seeking a Senior Mobile Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for customer-facing mobile features in the Ford mobile app. You will own flows from research-informed concepts to polished interfaces and collaborate across product, engineering, and research to deliver value.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in UX/UI or digital product design, a strong portfolio, and advanced Figma skills. This hybrid role is based in Dearborn, MI with a focus on customer-centered, data-driven design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX/UI or digital product design experience, including consumer mobile products.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and a strong portfolio.
• Portfolio showing visual excellence and depth on complex, technical challenges.
• Experience using research, data, and analytics to guide design decisions.
• Strong communication and ability to manage a project or feature area.
• Track record of leading projects across disciplines and influencing partners.
• Experience mentoring peers through design critique or mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Own feature areas end to end from concepts to production interfaces.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Research to set direction and plans.
• Design for complex experiences including real-time video, vehicle commands, and energy management.
• Use systems thinking to identify gaps and propose practical solutions.
• Make data-driven design decisions and measure results.
• Lead design reviews and manage dependencies and risks.
• Apply Ford’s design system and brand standards.
• Mentor teammates to raise design quality.
