Job summary

Metro San Diego is seeking a Senior Mobile Game Animator in San Marcos, CA. You will translate concepts into production-ready 2D animations, collaborate with the illustration and development teams, and deliver optimized assets for mobile titles.

Applicants should provide a portfolio, expect a skills test, and thrive under tight turnarounds across multiple projects. The role is in-office five days a week with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design / Game Art & Design / Game Development.
• Years of work experience commensurate with job level - roughly Junior 0-2 yrs, Mid 3-10 yrs, Snr 5+ yrs.
• Work experience in Gaming, Design, Marketing, Advertising, Publishing or Animation field.
• High degree of experience and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
• HTML knowledge nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Create various game mockups.
• Create particles / animations / visual FXs for the game.
• Assist creatives in drawing game elements.
• Build out optimized game ready assets from concepts.
• Work closely with developers ensuring concepts are achievable.
