Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA. You will be a subject matter expert in full-stack engineering on a scrum delivery team, collaborating with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver business value on an iterative basis.

You will coach and influence team members on best practices, architect and deploy scalable software, and ensure high-quality code through TDD, pair programming, and CI.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in test automation and cloud computing.
• Experience building large scale, multi-tier applications using OO languages.
• Web or mobile app development with modern tech.
• Use of design patterns for clean, maintainable code.
• Version control with Git; TP and XP practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
