Job summary

Rilla in New York City is seeking a dedicated mobile engineer to own and accelerate our mobile codebase, delivering a lightning-fast, real-time experience for field users. You will build end-to-end workflows, ship features to production, and push the boundaries of how billions of conversations are captured and indexed.

The role requires ~3+ years of mobile delivery experience at startups or similar, strong cross-language coding skills, and a collaborative, high-velocity mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, C++, Python, Rust or similar.
• Strong mobile engineering prowess (~3+ years), ideally at start-ups.
• Familiarity with storage/data processing systems and cloud infra.
• Strong written and verbal communication; fast iteration with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end mobile workflows and ship them to production.
• Own the mobile codebase and craft a fast, real-time experience for field users.
• Collaborate across teams to clear velocity bottlenecks and raise quality.
