Job summary

micro1 seeks a Senior Mobile Software Engineer contractor to design and implement RL environments for evaluating frontier AI models. You will craft challenging mobile coding tasks aligned with real-world engineering problems and provide reproducible references.

Your work will focus on iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, and cross-platform stacks, shaping how models learn from high-quality mobile solutions while maintaining scalable verification processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive mobile app development experience.
• Ability to design reproducible tasks and environments.
• Proven debugging and performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Create realistic, interesting, and extremely challenging mobile coding tasks for frontier AI models.
• Design problems that require strong mobile engineering skills, such as tracking down subtle bugs, building non-trivial features, handling application state and lifecycle, or improving performance.
• Develop tasks relevant to expertise: cross-platform using TypeScript/JavaScript or Dart; iOS with Swift; Android with Kotlin.
• For each task, define the problem, build a reproducible environment, and write deterministic verifiers that accept correct solutions across different valid implementations.
• Provide a reference solution showing how the task can be solved.
