Job summary

FanFixApp, LLC is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, build, and scale native iOS and Android apps using React Native and Expo. You will work with product, design, and backend teams to deliver fast, polished experiences and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building cross‑platform apps with React Native, including navigation and performance optimization.
• Proven Expo SDK, EAS Build/Submit/Update, and OTA delivery workflows.
• Strong TypeScript skills for clean, maintainable codebases.
• Familiarity with NativeWind and shadcn/ui for modern UI.
• Deep understanding of startup app performance and UX.
• Experience integrating GraphQL or REST APIs with React Query or Apollo Client.
• Knowledge of bridging native modules and multi‑platform configurations.
• Proficient testing: Jest, RN Testing Library; Detox or Maestro for E2E.
• Attention to detail in UI, state, and platform behavior.
• Self‑driven, ownership mindset to deliver features end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native app features with high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams for pixel‑perfect experiences.

Requirements

• React Native:Extensive experience building cross-platform apps with React Native, including navigation, animations, and performance optimization.

• Expo & EAS:Proven experience with Expo SDK, EAS Build/Submit/Update, and OTA delivery workflows.

• TypeScript:Strong command of TypeScript for clean, type-safe, and maintainable codebases.

• UI Frameworks:Familiarity with modern React Native UI frameworks such asNativeWindandshadcn/ui.

• Mobile Performance:Deep understanding of app startup time, bundle optimization, memory management, and frame-rate stability.

• API Integration:Proven experience integratingGraphQLor REST APIs using tools such as React Query or Apollo Client.

• Cross-Platform Development:Knowledge of bridging native modules, managing platform-specific configurations, and integrating third-party SDKs.

• Testing:Proficient with Jest and React Native Testing Library, plus experience with end-to-end frameworks such as Detox or Maestro.

• Attention to Detail:Demonstratesprecision in UI execution, state management, and platform-specific behavior.

• Initiative:Self-driven, with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver features from conception to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Design Systems:Experience contributing to ormaintaininga shared cross-platform design system (e.g.,shadcn/ui+NativeWind+ Radix primitives).

• App Distribution:Familiarity with TestFlight, Google Play Console, and automated release pipelines.

• CI/CD Experience:Understanding ofGitHub Actions, EAS Build pipelines, and remote caching inmonorepoenvironments.

• Feature Flags & Analytics: Experience integratingPostHog,LaunchDarkly, or similar tools for analytics and feature rollout.

• Observability:Familiarity with Sentry, Expo Application Services, or equivalent tools for monitoring app health and stability.

• MonorepoDevelopment:Comfortable working inTurborepowith shared packages, utilities, and backend adapters.
