Role Overview

We areseekinga highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and take a leadership role in driving the development and innovation of our platform. This senior-level position focuses on complex system design, technical leadership, and mentorship within the platform engineering domain. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performingsystems that are central to our product’s success.

*This is a remote position with preference for applicants on the Pacific coast.

Requirements

Expertisein TypeScript and Node.js, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.

Proficiencywith Jest for writing unit and integration tests.

Solid experience with SQL and database management, specifically with PostgreSQL.

Hands-on experience with ORM tools such asMikroORM,Sequelize, or Prisma.

Familiarity withGraphQLAPI design and implementation.

Experience withNestJSor similar frameworks for building scalable applications.

Attention to Detail:Demonstratesprecision and thoroughness in code development, testing, and documentation.
