Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to perform preventive maintenance and advanced repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose failures, train shop staff, and conduct tests to ensure safe operation. The role includes in-shop work and potential on-call rotations at our Dallas location.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, diesel tech credentials, and CDL or equivalent license, with welding skills and reliable tools for field service.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
Diagnostic experience.
Training experience.
Welding.
Air Brake Certified.

Responsibilities

Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s).
Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions where appropriate.
Perform major and advanced adjustments, repairs, and component replacements.
Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and service truck.
