Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape Spruce, their native mobile banking experience on iOS and Android. You will lead end-to-end design from problem framing to production-ready delivery, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accessible, trustworthy experiences.

You will drive design quality, establish scalable patterns, and leverage AI tools like Figma Make, Figma MCP to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and documentation across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product-design experience, ideally designing complex mobile products or services.
• A portfolio showing end-to-end product thinking, strong interaction and visual design, and meaningful outcomes.
• Experience designing native iOS and Android experiences.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, libraries, prototyping, and developer-ready design.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive-design practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for complex Spruce mobile banking features and journeys.
• Frame problems, map journeys, prototype, validate, and deliver production-ready designs.
• Plan and synthesize customer research and usability testing to inform decisions.
• Define future native iOS and Android experiences with design systems and standards.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, content, legal, and compliance teams.
