Optum is seeking a Senior Mobile Architect to own the technical direction of our Expo/React Native member application, serving 1M+ members daily across iOS, Android, and web. You will be the senior architectural authority for the mobile codebase, setting standards, solving hard problems, and guiding a distributed team in a hands-on capacity.

You will engage daily with code, reviews, and engineers, with remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years building and shipping production React Native applications.
• 3+ years architecture experience in the mobile space.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural decisions across cross-platform rendering and module boundaries.
• Review PRs and provide substantial architectural feedback.
• Lead complex production issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Own release readiness and mobile build/release pipelines.
