Ladders is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Native Mobile to lead native mobile strategy for iOS and Android from a remote US base. You will drive large-scale migrations, build reusable automation, and craft a foundational framework unifying mobile teams. Work closely with leaders to remove blockers and align on major decisions.

Critical focus on engineering efficiency, mentorship of senior engineers, and shaping a high-impact mobile development culture across platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in native mobile development (Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android).
• Experience driving multi-team migrations or rewrites and strong performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy for advancing native mobile app development.
• Lead AI-assisted migration design and create reusable automation frameworks.
• Architect a foundational native framework to improve collaboration across iOS and Android teams.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to remove blockers and support organizational readiness.
• Mentor senior engineers, cultivate technical leadership, and help with succession planning.
• Establish best practices and foster a strong community among mobile engineers.
