Job summary

Carrier seeks a Senior Engineer, Mobile Applications to design, build, and optimize customer- and field-facing mobile experiences across iOS and Android, leveraging strong React Native and TypeScript expertise.

You will own technical decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with backend, cloud, product, UX, QA, and support teams to raise engineering standards for mobile-to-cloud integration on the Residential platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years building and shipping production mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• 3+ years hands-on React Native and TypeScript.
• 2+ years integrating mobile apps with REST/GraphQL APIs or comparable backends.
• 2+ years working with authentication, authorization, token lifecycle management, and secure sessions.
• 2+ years building, supporting, or troubleshooting backend or cloud services in AWS or similar cloud environment.
• 3+ years debugging across app, API, and cloud-service boundaries.
• 2+ years working with modern CI/CD, code review, testing, and release workflows for mobile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile features across iOS and Android.
• Lead React Native and TypeScript-based mobile delivery in a shared-codebase.
• Build and support REST/GraphQL API integrations and auth systems.
• Contribute to backend-facing work including API design and service integration troubleshooting.
• Improve app stability, performance, and release quality across platforms.
• Define mobile architecture, state management, secure storage, and maintainable patterns.
• Collaborate with cloud, product, UX, QA, and support teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews and best practices.
