Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking a talented React Native Technical Lead to guide the mobile development team on a 6-month project creating a cross-platform app for iOS and Android. You will define architecture, enforce patterns, and ensure scalable integration with APIs and third-party services.

You will mentor developers, review code, and establish best practices for rapid delivery and code quality, delivering a high-quality MVP that shares code with the web store while maintaining performance

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years mobile development with React Native.
• Experience with Redux or Context for state management.
• REST API integration and error handling.
• Familiarity with iOS/Android development environments and app store submission.
• Experience with analytics/tracking tools including GA4, Hotjar, Bazaarvoice SDKs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one relevant tech certification or degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation decisions for the React Native codebase.
• Design app state management, API integration, and error handling strategies.
• Build and optimize performance-critical features such as product search, SKU computation, and checkout flows.
• Implement cart syncing to ensure cart consistency between mobile and web.
• Own the app's analytics integration (GA4, Hotjar, Bazaarvoice tracking).
• Mentor the mid-level mobile developer through code reviews and pattern establishment.
• Partner with backend developers to validate API design and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Address technical risks including handling large data payloads, rebuilding authentication flows, and real-time order tracking.

What You Will Be Doing

You will serve as the technical lead on the mobile development team within this 6-month project to deliver a React Native app for iOS and Android. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5+ years of mobile development experience with React Native.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context.
• Proficiency in REST API integration and error handling strategies.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android development environments, including app store submission processes.
• Experience with analytics and tracking tools including GA4, Hotjar, and Bazaarvoice SDKs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to data payloads and latency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one relevant technical certification or degree.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience leading mobile architecture in a multi-platform environment.
• Knowledge of third-party system integrations such as CyberSource, Elasticsearch, or ERP systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes for mobile apps.
• Experience working within Agile sprint cycles and delivering MVPs within tight timeframes.

Pay: $66.50 - $95.00 /hr
