Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented React Native Technical Lead.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will serve as the technical lead on the mobile development team within this 6-month project to deliver a React Native app for iOS and Android. In this role, you will define and enforce architecture patterns, make critical decisions on handling large data payloads and performance optimization, and ensure seamless integration with APIs and third-party systems. You will work closely with backend developers to validate API design and troubleshoot performance issues. You will also mentor mid-level mobile developers, review code, and establish best practices for rapid delivery and code quality. Your focus will be on delivering a high-quality MVP that shares a codebase with the web store while maintaining consistency and performance across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and implementation decisions for the React Native codebase.
• Design and develop app state management, API integration, and error handling strategies.
• Build and optimize performance-critical features such as product search, SKU computation, and checkout flows.
• Implement cart syncing to ensure cart consistency between mobile and web.
• Own the app’s analytics integration (GA4, Hotjar, Bazaarvoice tracking).
• Mentor the mid-level mobile developer through code reviews and pattern establishment.
• Partner with backend developers to validate API design and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Address technical risks including handling large data payloads, rebuilding authentication flows, and real-time order tracking.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5+ years of mobile development experience with React Native.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context.
• Proficiency in REST API integration and error handling strategies.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android development environments, including app store submission processes.
• Experience with analytics and tracking tools including GA4, Hotjar, and Bazaarvoice SDKs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to data payloads and latency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one relevant technical certification or degree.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience leading mobile architecture in a multi-platform environment.
• Knowledge of third-party system integrations such as CyberSource, Elasticsearch, or ERP systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes for mobile apps.
• Experience working within Agile sprint cycles and delivering MVPs within tight timeframes.

Pay: $66.50 – $95.00 /hr
