Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking a React Native Mobile Developer to join a dynamic mobile team. You will build feature-rich screens and flows for a React Native app, collaborating with the Senior Mobile Developer to deliver customer-facing features such as search, discovery, cart, checkout, and order tracking.

This contract-to-permanent role spans approximately four months, with emphasis on clean, maintainable code, timely feature delivery, testing, documentation, and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience developing mobile applications.
• Strong React Native expertise and REST API integration experience.
• Familiarity with mobile UI patterns, testing tools, and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop feature screens and user flows per architecture patterns.
• Implement Search & Discovery features including product search, filters, favorites, and scan-to-order.
• Build Cart & Checkout features with add-to-cart, saved addresses, delivery options, and payment integrations.
• Create Order Visibility features like order history, status updates, and notifications.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure stability and quality.
• Collaborate with Senior Mobile Developer on complex integrations or performance challenges.
• Identify technical blockers early to keep development on track.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join a dynamic mobile development team after the architectural foundation has been established, focusing on building feature-rich screens and flows for a React Native app. In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior Mobile Developer to implement customer-facing features such as search, discovery, cart, checkout, and order tracking. This contract-to-permanent opportunity spans approximately four months, with an emphasis on clean, maintainable code, and timely feature delivery. You will contribute to testing efforts, documentation, and code reviews to ensure high-quality output. Your work will directly impact the customer experience by delivering reliable and responsive app features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop feature screens and user flows in accordance with established architecture patterns.
• Implement Search & Discovery functionalities including product search, filters, favorites, and scan-to-order.
• Build Cart & Checkout features such as add-to-cart, saved addresses, delivery options, and payment integrations.
• Create Order Visibility features like order history, status updates, and notifications.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure application stability and quality.
• Collaborate with the Senior Mobile Developer on complex integrations or performance challenges.
• Identify and elevate technical blockers early to keep development on track.
• Contribute to project documentation and maintain comprehensive code comments for future maintainability.
• Support in testing on iOS and Android devices using Xcode and Android Studio.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience developing mobile applications, with strong React Native expertise.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs within mobile apps.
• Familiarity with mobile UI patterns, responsive design, and testing tools such as Xcode and Android Studio.
• Solid understanding of version control workflows with Git.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and proven experience in mobile app development.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with React Navigation and state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Exposure to performance optimization and troubleshooting in React Native apps.
• Previous experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of latest mobile development trends and best practices.

Pay: $52.50 - $75.00 /hr
