Job summary

DMAS is seeking a Systems Analyst 4 with deep Medicaid MMIS testing expertise to lead impact analysis, oversee multi‑vendor testing efforts, and drive comprehensive test strategies. You will coordinate SIT, UAT, and E2E testing across MMIS and MES modules, ensuring high quality releases and regulatory compliance.

The role demands strong analytical skills, hands‑on debugging, and effective communication with technical teams and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• In‑depth MMIS or similar large‑scale claims processing knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate and direct testing phases in a multi‑vendor environment.
• Proven experience planning and executing functional, integration, and regression testing within iterative sprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impact analysis for system changes within MMIS/MES.
• Lead advanced analysis across FAS modules; assess objectives and define solution approaches.
• Evaluate workflows, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements for automation and compliance.
• Oversee design reviews, integration testing, defect resolution, and production validation.
• Serve as senior liaison with vendors and cross‑functional teams for stable FAS operations.
• Support upgrades, interface enhancements, configuration changes, and security improvements.
• Coordinate cross‑module alignment to avoid downstream conflicts.
• Support audits by providing insights into processes, data structures, and reconciliations.
• Drive root cause analysis for production issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop and execute test strategies including SIT, UAT, and E2E testing for MMIS and MES.
