Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for a Sunday to Thursday shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).

This role resides in the Clinical Laboratory - Serology IFA department and offers a competitive pay range with potential annual bonus eligibility. The position requires a Bachelor of Science with MLS certification (ASCP/AMT/AAB) and 1+ year of clinical testing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science with MLS certification from ASCP/AMT/AAB or equivalent.
• Medical laboratory science education with clinical testing experience.
• Experience performing high/Moderate complexity testing per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analytical tests per SOPs with QC compliance.
• Troubleshoot instruments, support QC and maintenance activities.
• Enter results into LIS and ensure accurate records for physician review.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
• Assist training and supervise when needed.
