Job summary

The Foundation is seeking a results-driven leader to head the Data & AI team’s measurement, learning, and evaluation function. You will define strategy, build dashboards, and apply AI-assisted analytics to guide investments and strengthen outcomes.

With an advanced degree and strong experience in evaluation, you will synthesize evidence for senior leadership and external partners, ensuring equity-focused insights guide decisions and investments across programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent in education research, public policy, economics, statistics, or related field.
• Significant experience in measurement, learning, and evaluation within complex programs or research.
• Mastery of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, including theory of change, logic models, and cost-effectiveness.
• Experience translating findings into accessible narratives and visuals for varied audiences.
• Experience building interactive data dashboards and using AI-assisted tools to speed analytics.
• Experience managing external evaluation partnerships with third parties.

Responsibilities

• Define and track strategy and portfolio progress with evaluation design and performance indicators.
• Design and build interactive dashboards to visualize progress and support decision making.
• Develop predictive and evaluative impact accounting frameworks and scenario analyses.
• Analyze and communicate findings from evaluations to inform strategy and planning.
• Provide evaluation support to grants and investments portfolios.
• Coordinate with program officers, grantees, and external partners to ensure data needs are met.
• Share insights across the Data & AI team to strengthen cross-portfolio connections.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy.
• Participate in foundation-wide MLE learning communities and represent the team's approach.
• Apply equity-centered evaluation design to ensure fair outcomes.
