Job summary

Deploy Alloy is seeking an ML Search Engineer to build end-to-end search systems for industrial buyers. You’llown Python backends, React frontends, and cloud-native services on GCP, delivering scalable retrieval, ranking, and AI-assisted product discovery.

You’ll integrate vector databases, manage Elasticsearch/OpenSearch pipelines, and collaborate with ML architects to tune relevance. This is an on-site role in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend or full-stack experience with Python/React focus.
• Experience designing cloud-native apps and REST/gRPC APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Python/React services end-to-end.
• Build ML inference pipelines and embedding models.
• Develop and maintain search infrastructure (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, vector DBs).
• Instrument pipelines with metrics and observability; own CI/CD and IaC.
