Job summary

Medical Mutual is seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to design and develop machine learning models. You will be self-sufficient and mentor junior data scientists, extracting and preparing data for models, and planning integration into production systems.

You will collaborate with business teams on feature design, present model performance, and conduct ad-hoc analytics to describe data-driven trends. The role requires staying current with new tech and learning as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's/PhD in Computer Science, mathematics, machine learning or related field.
• 4+ years experience with machine learning techniques in a team environment.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with Python.

Responsibilities

• Feature selection/design and data prep for ML models.
• Developing, optimizing and testing ML models.
• Measuring model performance and exploring improvements.
• Designing production system integration for ML models.
• Collaborating with business on feature design and presenting model performance.
