Job summary

Medical Mutual is seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to design and develop machine learning models, and to coach junior data scientists. You will extract and prepare data for modeling, design, optimize and test models, and plan integration into production systems.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the business on features, presenting model performance and exploring new techniques. This role requires strong MLOps, analytics and programming skills in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, mathematics, machine learning/AI or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience with machine learning techniques in a team environment.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with Python.

Responsibilities

• Feature selection/design and data preparation for ML models.
• Developing, optimizing and testing ML models.
• Measure model performance and explore improvements.
• Design and execute production integration for ML models.
• Collaborate with business teams on feature selection and review model metrics.
• Conduct ad-hoc analytics to understand data trends.
• Learn new technical concepts and languages as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
