Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is hiring a Senior Machine Learning R&D Engineer for Matterport to research and build next‑gen neural reconstruction and generative systems. You will train models that complete 3D spaces, synthesize unseen views, and improve capture fidelity across 170+ countries.

You will work with researchers, platform engineers, and product teams to translate frontier ideas into production‑ready capabilities for Matterport's digital twins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and evidence of research or industry work.
• Experience in ML research with CV, 3D data processing, or generative modeling.
• Strong Python coding and PyTorch proficiency.
• Independent research capability and strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Research and train large-scale 3D reconstruction and generative models.
• Advance neural rendering and novel view synthesis for real-world spaces.
• Develop scalable training and inference pipelines for 3D data.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to deploy models.
• Define evaluation benchmarks and drive improvements.
