Job summary

Remote seeks a Software Engineer 5 to advance an AI platform powering ML development, experimentation, and deployment at scale. You’ll design tools, SDKs, and interfaces for researchers, ML engineers, and data scientists, and collaborate across functions to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of full-time software engineering or ML experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of Scala/Java/C++.
• Experience developing platform solutions, SDKs, or internal tools for technical users.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end ML lifecycle including data/feature pipelines, model training, experiment tracking, and deployment.
• Familiarity with ML workflow orchestration and tools like Metaflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow.
• Strong collaboration skills across research and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform solutions including SDKs and internal tools.
• Develop tools to accelerate model creation, evaluation, experimentation, and deployment.
• Apply strong software engineering principles to distributed applications.
• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and engineers to translate requirements into platform solutions.
• Engage with the ML community to gather feedback and improve developer experience.
• Contribute to workflow orchestration and data/feature infrastructure across large ML environments.
• Explore emerging ML technologies and contribute to open-source projects.
