Job summary

Super is hiring a Senior Engineer for the ML Platform squad to build a brand-new platform powering engineering-wide ML experimentation, deployment, and monitoring. You will design scalable backend services, re-architect data pipelines for real-time processing, and create tools that simplify ML workflows.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to drive platform adoption, security, and performance at scale, mentoring peers and shaping the ML roadmap along the

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend/software engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and APIs at scale.
• Hands-on experience with real-time data processing frameworks (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, Pulsar).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, storage systems, and streaming architectures.
• Familiarity with ML tooling (MLflow, ZenML, Metaflow) and ML model lifecycle management.
• Excellent collaboration and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for ML experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Re-architect data pipelines for real-time processing and production ML models.
• Develop tools to simplify ML pipeline design, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure platform services are robust, secure, and performant.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to translate needs into platform capabilities.
• Drive adoption of ML best practices and tool reusability.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and scalable vision of the ML platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
