Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior MLInfra Engineer to accelerate autonomous driving by building scalable ML training platforms and production-ready training pipelines. You will own system reliability, APIs, and tooling, collaborating with senior engineers and ML teams to push models from research to production across GM’s cloud infrastructure.

You should have 3+ years in distributed systems or ML infra, strong Python or C++ skills, and experience with ML workflows, MLOps, and modern cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, ML infrastructure or applications.
• Strong Python or C++ coding skills.
• Solid understanding of ML workflows and production ML systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy scalable ML training and evaluation platforms across GM.
• Drive complex projects with ownership and focus on reliability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leads on architectural decisions.
• Work with partner teams to ensure adoption and real-world ML development needs.
• Identify performance improvements and optimize platform investments.
• Contribute to engineering culture through code reviews and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
