Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Software Engineer III in Sunnyvale, CA to lead camera and sensor simulation pipelines and generate synthetic datasets for ML teams. You will train and evaluate models using the simulated data, iterating dataset composition based on model performance and maintaining simulation tools.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with ML infrastructure experience, strong Python and C++, and familiarity with Linux and version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ML infrastructure focus.
• 5+ years of Python and C++ development.
• Experience running ML training/evaluation workflows, preferably PyTorch.
• Experience with large-scale dataset generation and version control.

Responsibilities

• Run and iterate camera/sensor simulation pipelines to generate synthetic datasets.
• Deliver training and evaluation data to camera architects and ML teams under tight timelines.
• Support ML training and evaluation using generated synthetic data and metrics.
• Iterate on dataset composition based on model performance.
• Configure scenes and sensor parameters to match specs and validate data quality.
• Maintain and improve simulation tooling and dataset generation scripts.
