J&T Business Consulting seeks a Machine Learning Engineer (TS/SCI) to develop compliance analytics and ML-enabled tools in Laurel, MD. You will design, prototype, and deploy data-driven software within an R&D setting.

Required are Python/Java/Scala expertise on Linux, Scikit-learn experience, and strong MapReduce familiarity. Collaboration via Jira/Confluence and Git platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 14+ years experience or 18 years without degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or Scala on Linux.
• Experience with Scikit-learn, Random Forest, feature engineering, Jupyter Notebooks, Lucene, JEXL, SQL, JSON, and MapReduce.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab, Bitbucket; strong documentation.

Responsabilités

• Design, prototype, and maintain compliance automation tools and business processing analytics.
• Implement, test, and validate machine learning and AI algorithms (e.g., Random Forest, GMLearn) in an R&D environment.
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and feature engineering on complex datasets.
• Build, deploy, and monitor ML models, data flows, and performance telemetry.
• Integrate distributed MapReduce processing workflows with backend data pipelines.
• Develop full-stack and analytical software using Python, Java, Scala, Lucene, JEXL, SQL, and JSON in Linux.
• Collaborate using Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, and Bitbucket; maintain comprehensive docs.
