Job summary

Mimica is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist for our Data Intelligence team. You will transform raw data into clean, structured data powering other teams, build evaluations and LLM judges, run experiments, and implement production improvements.

Your work will be ML-heavy, with opportunities to evaluate and fine-tune open-source models and build task-specific models. You will help shape systems at the heart of Mimica’s products and deliver value to users at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong ML/DS background with experimental design and metrics.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs in production or near-production settings.
• Ability to work with messy data and derive measurable improvements.
• Clear, maintainable Python code suitable for production.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve production ML pipelines for accuracy and efficiency.
• Design and iterate on LLM evals and judge systems, including datasets and benchmarks.
• Run rigorous experiments on models, prompts, and pipeline designs, and translate results into recommendations.
• Improve LLM efficiency across pipelines by redesigning steps and using smaller models.
• Expand anonymization pipelines and adapt existing models.
• Collaborate with quality engineers to move experiments into production.
• Document findings and write experiment/design documents.
