Qualifications

• BS/BA with 5+ years relevant experience, or MS/MA with 3+ years; PhD with 1+ year.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience turning research code into production-ready components.

Responsibilities

• Lead refactoring and modularization of research code for maintainability, scalability, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with researchers to understand algorithmic intent and with engineers for integration into broader systems.
• Architect tools, pipelines, and APIs for deployment into mission-relevant environments.
• Influence technical roadmaps and architectural decisions for AI/ML infrastructure.
• Mentor junior staff on software engineering standards and research-to-production workflows.
