Shipt is seeking a Senior Data Scientist on the Foundations team to implement cutting edge models and design experiments with product, business, and engineering teams to tackle pricing challenges.

You will be a subject matter expert in ML or experimentation, validate impact of algorithmic changes on business metrics, and present recommendations to stakeholders.

This role offers hybrid work across multiple US locations and opportunities to influence key pricing domains at Shipt.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience applying machine learning and statistics in an industry setting.
• PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience with building and deploying machine learning models.
• Experience with experiment design, rollout, analysis and reporting.
• 4+ years Python development.
• Experience presenting to stakeholders.
• Experience leading key technical projects and influencing others.
