Job summary

ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to apply ML/DL models, data analytics, and feature extraction to challenging problems. You will work with senior scientists to understand data, design experiments, and evaluate algorithm performance on large datasets.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in ML/DS, Python/Matlab proficiency, and experience with DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or related discipline; military experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years related industry experience in machine learning, data science, and analytics.
• Proven track record of successful data science and algorithm implementation.
• Provide mentorship to junior ML engineers.
• Self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience navigating and programming within the Linux environment.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured databases.
• Advanced proficiency with data science languages (e.g. Python, Matlab).
• Demonstrated experience with Deep Learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, scikit-learn, MXNet).
• Experience working with large data sets and ability to extract relevant information from data sets.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Understand problem sets with senior scientists and define data feature sets and parameters.
• Build datasets and design controlled experiments to assess algorithm performance.
• Apply ML/DL solutions for mission systems, including data fusion and feature extraction.
• Mentor junior ML engineers and communicate findings clearly.
