Job summary

SOSI is seeking a senior Machine Learning Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support a US government customer. You will collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and SMEs to apply state-of-the-art ML processes and deliver actionable insights.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI clearance with poly and have 5+ years in data science or engineering, plus production ML deployment experience using Ray, FastAPI, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI (with poly) security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum 5 years in a data science/engineering role.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models into production systems.

Responsibilities

• Leverage data science to address mission challenges.
• Develop rapid prototype ML solutions using open-source models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and SMEs.
• Communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Deploy models in multi-node Ray clusters with GPU resources.
