Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior ML engineer to advance the perception stack for autonomous driving. You will design, train, and optimize ML models for LiDAR/camera data and multi-sensor fusion, while building robust end-to-end workflows from data pipelines to production release.

You will contribute to production-grade code, collaborate across teams, and stay ahead of ML innovations to improve platform performance in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant proven industry experience applying ML to real-world problems.
• Strong C and Python programming and debugging skills for large, complex systems.
• Experience applying ML to LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion in automotive contexts.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience building and sustaining training and metric workflows for large-scale datasets.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Model Development: design, train, and optimize ML models for LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion.
• Develop and coordinate ML workflows from data pipelines to model evaluation and reporting.
• Productization: move ML models to production on NVIDIA DRIVE AV platform with efficient code.
• Innovation: incorporate latest ML techniques to improve platform performance.
• Collaborate with LiDAR/camera teams and engineers to deliver reliable autonomous driving solutions.
