Job summary

Nuro is seeking experienced machine learning researchers and engineers to advance its autonomous driving stack. You will apply advanced ML to detection with sensor fusion, tracking, and classification, with emphasis on onboard latency and real-time deployment.

You will own problem solving from proof of concept to on-road performance, and develop scalable training methods for massive data while keeping latency in check. Ownership and deep focus are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Recent experience applying state-of-the-art deep learning to autonomous driving tasks.
• Strong ML fundamentals and experience expanding model architectures.
• Strong SWE fundamentals in Python and C++.
• Bonus: experience deploying models in real-time environments and ML productization.
• Bonus: experience with data pipelines and large-scale training.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in problem solving from concept to on-road performance.
• Develop techniques to train models on massive data while maintaining onboard latency.
• Take ownership of novel problems and dive deep on them.
