Fetch is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II to advance ad ranking, relevance, and optimization at scale. You will design ML models, build feature pipelines, and maintain production inference with low latency, partnering with product and data teams to close advertiser and user experience gaps.

Minimum 8+ years in software and ML, strong Python and AWS experience, and a track record in production ML systems. Remote-friendly within the United States with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with production ML or data-driven systems.
• Strong Python for ML and data processing; Go knowledge.
• Experience with AWS and distributed systems, scalable pipelines and online inference.
• Practical experience applying LLMs to reduce labeling and development effort.
• Reliability-focused mindset for ranking/optimization systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate iteration.
• Ability to validate AI outputs and debug complex production ML workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve ML models powering ad ranking, relevance, and optimization.
• Implement active learning strategies for data sampling and retraining.
• Leverage LLMs to reduce development and annotation effort across pipelines.
• Own ML experimentation, offline/online evaluation, and production inference.
• Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to translate needs into ML improvements.
• Maintain high standards for performance, latency, and data quality in production.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, debugging, and analysis.
