Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to drive agentic AI-enabled modeling workflows across the organization.

This role emphasizes modeling leverage, quality, and velocity rather than general infra, with leadership across the modeling loop. You will work with tools like Claude and Cursor to push state-of-the-art ML, ensure rigorous evaluations, and mentor teams while aligning modeling improvements to product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in ML engineering with production impact.
• Senior Staff-level technical leadership demonstrated across teams.
• Deep modeling fundamentals: data, architectures, optimization, evaluation, experimentation.
• Concrete examples of using agentic AI or AI coding tools for better ML outcomes.
• Ability to design guardrails and evaluations for autonomous workflows.
• Strong coding in Python and fluency with ML frameworks and data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced ML models and agentic workflows to design, train, evaluate, and improve them.
• Use Claude, Cursor, and similar tools to explore model behavior and automate analyses.
• Build robust data/label analysis loops for feature and embedding development and experimentation.
• Design evaluation harnesses for model outcomes and workflow quality, including latency and cost.
• Partner with product, data science, ML infra, and engineering teams to connect modeling improvements to outcomes.
• Set technical direction, mentor engineers, and raise modeling rigor.
